Overwatch League week one round-up

We provide you with a brief recap of the first week of season two action in OWL.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 19 février 2019

Last Thursday marked the beginning of the first week of the second season of Blizzard's premier esports league, The Overwatch League (OWL) and it has been a busy one. We've seen some stellar tank play and some results that would shock even the biggest fans of the League. From seeing the Dallas Fuel transform themselves from a hefty loss to an overwhelming victory in just two days, to watching Dafran of the Atlanta Reign push Carpe of the Philadelphia Fusion to the max in order to score the victory for his team on Sunday. It's fair to say that after this week, we are definitely excited to see what's in store for the rest of the season.

Anyway, the results for the first week are as follows;

Thursday:
Philadelphia Fusion (3-1) London Spitfire
New York Excelsior (2-1) Boston Uprising
Seoul Dynasty (3-1) Los Angeles Gladiators
Shanghai Dragons (1-3) Hangzhou Spark

Friday:
Toronto Defiant (3-2) Houston Outlaws
Atlanta Reign (4-0) Florida Mayhem
Dallas Fuel (0-4) San Francisco Shock
Chengdu Hunters (3-2) Guangzhou Charge

Saturday:
London Spitfire (1-3) Paris Eternal
Washington Justice (1-3) New York Excelsior
Los Angeles Valiant (2-3) Hangzhou Spark
Vancouver Titans (4-0) Shanghai Dragons

Sunday:
Houston Outlaws (2-3) Boston Uprising
Philadelphia Fusion (3-2) Atlanta Reign
San Francisco Shock (2-3) Los Angeles Gladiators
Seoul Dynasty (1-3) Dallas Fuel

That about concludes this week's OWL round-up, be sure to catch week two's games starting from Thursday on the OWL Twitch channel , with particular interest in the second game on Friday between the New York Excelsior and the Los Angeles Valiant as it should be very explosive.

Did you watch any of the games this week?
