With the playoff phase of the Overwatch League 2020 coming to a close we now know the four teams that will be battling it out in the Grand Finals next month.
The two teams to advance to this stage in the competition in the North American division are San Francisco Shock and Philadelphia Fusion. San Francisco Shock earned its place by taking down Philadelphia Fusion 3-1 in spectacular fashion. Philadelphia Fusion was able to make a comeback after this, however, and made its way to the Grand Finals by defeating Washington Justice 3-0 in the Losers Bracket.
In the Asia division, it was Shanghai Dragons and Seoul Dynasty that were able to advance ahead. Shanghai Dragons was able to best Seoul Dynasty with a score of 3-2 and Seoul Dynasty bounced back by taking down New York Excelsior in the Losers Bracket 3-0.
San Francisco Shock, Philadelphia Fusion, Shanghai Dragons, and Seoul Dynasty will all then fight for a chance at winning $1.5 million in the Grand Finals on October 8.
