FunPlus Phoenix is joining the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene with a new roster that was largely made up of previous Godsent members. We knew that the Godsent roster was to be acquired by a major esports team, but now we know that it was FunPlus Phoenix all along. The new roster FPX intend to run consists of:

Pavle "maden" Boskovic
Asger "farlig" Jensen
Jesse "zehN" Linjala
Martin "STYKO" Styk

With Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg (Coach) taking up the coaching role.

The final slot on the active roster will be occupied by Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, who is on loan from Mousesports.

As this deal has been in development for a while, we can assume the team will be ready to compete in the DreamHack January 2021 tournament, which is slated to begin this weekend. You can catch the action here.
