Echo Fox have announced the acquisition of seven new players to compete in fighting games, those being Street Fighter V, Mortal Kombat, and Super Smash Bros.

The Street Fighter V players signed are Justin Wong, Hajime "Tokido" Taniguchi, Yusuke Momochi, and Yuko "Chocoblanka" Momochi, and those for Mortal Kombat are Dominique "Sonic Fox" McLean and Brad "Scar" Vaughn. In terms of Super Smash Bros., the signed player is Leonardo "MKLeo" Lopez Perez.

Julio Fuentes and Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman are already on the roster for fighting games, having experienced success themselves, and these signings significantly increase the team's status in the world of fighting games, especially since Antonio Javier will be introduced as the General Manager of the fighting game team.

"From day one, our goal has always been to build the premier esports organisation in the world, setting the new standard for professionalism, team achievement and player development and wellness", said Echo Fox owner Rick Fox. "Today's announcement demonstrates our willingness to think big, think global and execute a strategic battle plan."

Echo Fox also said in their announcement that they want to be one of the dominant forces in the Fighting Game Community (FGC). Do you think this is a reasonable goal considering these signings?
