The official website for the Intel Extreme Masters has revealed that Cloud9 will not be competing in the League of Legends competition at IEM Katowice next month.

The reasons cited for this are that they want to focus on their good run of form in that NA LCS, where they sit top of the table, as well as "uncertainty around visas and re-entry for Cloud9's internationals," because 60% of their LoL staff are foreigners on a VISA to the USA.

Cloud9 claimed a spot at IEM World Championship Katowice after finishing in the top eight at the Worlds, and after performing so well in the NA LCS, they will no doubt be sorely missed in Poland. IEM said that their replacement would be announced in the coming days.

If you were in Cloud9's shoes, which would you prioritise - the NA LCS, or IEM Katowice?
