With the beginning of the 2022 Overwatch League season coming up, the Houston Outlaws have made a few more announcements as they prepare for the upcoming year.

First of all, the team has revealed that general manager and long-time Outlaws member Matt "coolmatt" Iorio has left the franchise, after serving in the position for almost two years. There's no mention as to where Coolmatt will be heading to next, or likewise who will shift to become the Outlaws new general manager, but with the season around four months away from starting, we'll likely hear more soon.

Following up to this, the Outlaws have revealed that it has brought on Overwatch League veteran Hyung-seok "Bischu" "Aaron" Kim to the team to operate in the position of manager of player operations and content. As for what that might entail, the announcement post stated, "You'll be seeing a lot of Bischu this year as he will be working closely with our players and content team."

While the Outlaws do currently have a roster it can field come the start of the 2022 season, which will be played on an early build of Overwatch 2 and will use a 5v5 format, having only six members on its active roster currently does suggest that there may be more signings as we get closer to the start of the season.
