OG Esports has revealed a few changes to its Dota 2 roster. First of all the organisation has announced that Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan will be returning and joining the active line-up following previously playing with the team for a few months in 2020.

"Sumail has always been one of my favorite teammates and players," said JMR Luna, CEO of OG esports. "We are thrilled to have him back and I'm personally delighted to have him back in OG".

But, why this sudden signing? That's because Anathan "ana" Pham has announced that he is officially "stepping away" from competitive Dota 2. Revealed in a blog post, the Australian stated:

"The past few years have been an incredible journey and it is finally time for me to say that I'll be stepping away from Dota.

I have been on the fence about this for a while now but am ready to move on to a new chapter in my life. Long story short, Dota has been the biggest part of my life for the longest time and I am starting to find and appreciate other things in life that I want to learn about and explore."

OG will be looking to begin its journey to The International 10 in early July, when it looks to compete in the EU qualifiers. The team will also be appearing in the ESL Summer tournament, which starts today.
