The Russian esports organisation, Team Spirit has announced that it is partnering with the cryptocurrency exchange platform, Bitget. Revealed in a blog post, we're told that the partnership will be Spirit's first foray into the world of cryptocurrency.

"We're glad that the most progressive companies are becoming our partners," said Team Spirit's CEO, Nikita "Chesir" Chukalin. "Bitget is undoubtedly a future-oriented company that perfectly aligns with our values. Esports and cryptocurrency, things that seemed surreal not so long ago, are an integral part of our lives now. We at Team Spirit are looking forward to our future collaborations with Bitget!"

It's also noted that the aim of the partnership is to help people become more familiar with the ways of cryptocurrency, and that it will also attempt to encourage more esports fans to get involved in crypto opportunities.

Bitget's CEO, Sandra Lou also touched a little on the partnership, noting that it not be its final foray into esports, as "we believe that there's a natural synergy between them and we seek to explore further and to reinforce the value of cryptocurrencies, decentralized technologies, and within the esports and virtual worlds."
